Andrea Shabazian is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Music Theory at the University of Connecticut. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Central Connecticut State University and a Master of Music degree from the University of Delaware, where she specialized in flute/piccolo performance and instrumental conducting. Throughout her career, Andrea has performed with diverse ensembles including orchestras, wind ensembles, chamber groups, steel pan ensembles, and brass ensembles. Her artistry has taken her to international stages in China, Italy, Spain, England, France, and Austria. For the past eight years, she has served as a high school band director and music theory instructor while maintaining an active private lesson studio.
