Kenneth is a master’s student studying music theory at the University of Connecticut. There, he previously received a Bachelor of Music with emphases in music composition and theory, alongside a history minor.

As a music theorist, Kenneth focuses on the application of corpus methods to non-Western music, particularly Javanese gamelan music. He has given presentations at conferences across three countries on the history of gamelan theory and the structural differences between Western classical and gamelan music.

As a composer, Kenneth writes mainly for choral and chamber ensembles. Notable works include “When Spring Awakens,” one of four international winners in the UConn Saxophone Quartet’s Composition Competition, and an SATB arrangement of the traditional tune “Wayfaring Stranger” performed by choirs across Connecticut.

As a musician, Kenneth serves as Music Minister for Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sturbridge, MA, and is a singer in UConn’s Chamber Choir. He has previously sung in UConn’s Concert Choir and Glee Club, and performed in chamber ensembles as a pianist, singer, and conductor. Some significant performances include a premiere of Kyle Pederson’s “Be The Love” at Carnegie Hall in March 2024, a recital of originally composed works in March 2025, and performing alongside Jacob Collier in October 2025.
