Brennan Tutterrow

Brennan Tutterrow (he/him) is the Theater Operations Manager for von der Mehden Hall at the University of Connecticut in Storrs. Brennan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Design and Production with a minor in Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and a Masters in Fine Arts in Theatre Directing from the University of Essex: East 15 Acting School.
Growing up in rural North Carolina, Brennan was immersed in sports from a young age, participating in a range which spans cross country, wrestling, soccer, gymnastics, dance, and more. Brennan used his experience in sports to tackle the theatrical world. In directing, he begins his approach with movement, following such practitioners as Gecko Theatre and Jacque LeCoq. Brennan has worked, professionally, as a director, assistant director, lighting designer, sound designer, and combat director in shows with the David Glass Ensemble, Sihr Theatre, and Theatre! Statesville.
In his free time, Brennan enjoys board games (Betrayal at House on the Hill), trivia nights, hikes, and game nights with his friends. He also enjoys long walks with his puppy (Theo).
