Brooke Allen

Instructor of Bassoon

Bassoonist Brooke Allen joined the faculty of the University of Connecticut in Spring of 2018. She is a member of the Coast Guard Band, the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, as well as the Rhode Island Philharmonic. She has been a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, Orchestra X of Houston, and the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra. She holds degrees in music from Rice University and Louisiana State University, where she was a concerto competition winner. Ms. Allen has also studied at the Brevard Music Center, Music Academy of the West, and was a two-time Fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center.
