Charles Feierabend

MA Candidate, Musicology

From an early age Charles has been actively involved in music, studying violin from the age of 6 and singing in every choir he could. After graduating from Colgate University with a bachelor’s degree in history, he returned to the world of music to pursue a second bachelor’s at The Hartt School, this time in music history. After working in fields as varied as hospitality, retail, and customer service, he once again found his way back to music to pursue his original dream of being a music history professor.

Charles is also an accomplished violinist and tenor, and spends much of his free time performing when- and wherever he can. This includes singing in the Schola Cantorum at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, membership in the vocal chamber group Alchemy, and various other engagements in and around the Hartford area. When he is not working or performing, Charles spends his time watching movies and travelling.
